Finnish premiere of a new Lithuanian drama

The play Jumalten aamunkoitto (The Dawn of the Gods) by Lithuania's most significant contemporary playwright Marius Ivaškevičius will have its Finnish premiere at KokoTeatteri on 2 October 2026. The play, based on true events, deals with the war in Ukraine through the framework of art. Ivaškevičius's way of starting from the theatre stage, from the innermost parts of the actors written as characters, builds a genuine connection between the actors playing the actors and the audience.
