In recent years, Finnish theatres have witnessed an unprecedented surge of new writing talent, bringing greater range and vitality to Finnish drama.  Many of the country’s top dramatists have chosen Nordic Drama Corner to represent them.  In addition to new writers, we have long represented such classic authors as Veijo Meri and Eeva-Liisa Manner.  We also hold the adaptation rights to prose titles by many Finnish novelists. 

Our website offers an introduction to a number of major Finnish playwrights whose works have already been widely translated into English, French, German, Swedish and other languages.  We constantly commission new translations of Finnish plays, supporting our playwrights in their progress onto the world stage.  We are happy to answer any questions you may have concerning Finnish drama and theatrical rights.
